Role specifics and benefits: In Med Surg, you’ll deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, balancing acute needs with gradual recovery goals. Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vitals, and interpret clinical changes promptly

- Respond to patient crises, uphold patient safety, and enforce infection control protocols
- Document clearly and timely in the EMR; ensure continuity of care across shifts
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Assist with care coordination, including referrals and transitions of care
- Support unit operations and participate in quality improvement initiatives
