As a key member of our dental team, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality dental services to our patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform initial dental assessments and evaluate patient oral health history.
- Conduct teeth cleaning procedures which include scaling, root planing, and preventive care education.
- Apply preventative materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants.
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and provide proper dental care, including the use of protective equipment.
- Collaborate with dentists to plan for the care and treatment of gums and the maintenance of healthy teeth.
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in the state of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathetic personality, ensuring patient comfort and quality care.
