**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and patients as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report on any unusual conditions.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and to maintain an orderly environment.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
+ Collaborate with staff and local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies in a professional manner.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
