Job Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support effective decision-making and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring, while also leading the finance team to deliver accurate and timely results.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $52,630.00 to $86,840.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process; monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, corporate policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Provide financial insights, recommendations, and reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities.
  • Support operational managers with financial guidance and cost management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance/accounting team.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA designation or MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
