Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that supports AZCCC's growth and brand objectives. This role oversees all aspects of marketing operations, including brand management, digital marketing, public relations, advertising, collateral development, and internal communications. The Director of Marketing works in close collaboration with external vendors, strategic partners, and the HonorHealth Marketing team to ensure consistent and effective messaging. Reporting to the SVP of Strategic Growth, this position also partners closely with the Director of Business Development to align consumer-facing efforts with provider-focused initiatives. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements a marketing strategy aligned with AZCCC's goals and mission
- Serves as lead contact for external marketing partners and agencies
- Manages marketing budgets, timelines, and project scopes
- Collaborates with HonorHealth Marketing on joint campaigns and brand alignment
- Oversees digital strategy including social media, SEO, and paid advertising
- Manages website content, updates, and user experience with web vendors
- Tracks and reports on digital performance metrics and campaign results
- Ensures consistent brand identity across all marketing platforms
- Directs creation and approval of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, videos, signage)
- Coordinates patient- and physician-facing campaigns for brand and service line growth
- Manages media relations, press releases, and earned media through PR partners
- Collaborates with HonorHealth Marketing on public campaigns and media opportunities
- Promotes community events, philanthropy, and physician recognition
- Creates and distributes staff communications and internal newsletters
- Supports initiatives that enhance company culture and team engagement
- Plans and execute cross-platform ad campaigns targeting key audiences
- Oversees media buying, creative development, and vendor coordination
- Monitors campaign ROI and adjust strategies as needed
- Produces and markets the AZCCC vodcast and multimedia content
- Supports marketing efforts for physician outreach and partnership initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; master's preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience; healthcare or oncology marketing strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across digital, print and additional media.
- Strong Project Management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tolls and platforms (ex. Google analytics, social media, podcast)
- Experience working independently and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
