What You’ll Tackle

• Own DO-254 documentation planning and development; establish and manage DAL across the hardware lifecycle.
• Enforce disciplined practices in requirements engineering, verification, traceability, configuration management, and certification readiness to aerospace/defense standards.
• Produce high-quality artifacts: white papers, verification plans, procedures, and test reports.
• Partner with project systems engineering to capture, decompose, and maintain customer requirements.
• Confirm compliance to applicable MIL/DO standards and internal quality processes.
• Pitch in beyond your lane when needed; other related duties as assigned.

Are You a Fit?

• Degree: Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field strongly preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years in systems engineering or related discipline.
• Standards: Solid familiarity with MIL and DO standards.
• Documentation: Skilled at gathering inputs and synthesizing them into clear technical documents.
• Systems Breadth: Understanding of I/O and equipment interface requirements.
• Technical Range: Comfortable across digital/analog electronics and mechanical fundamentals.
• Hands-On: Able to read schematics and troubleshoot circuits.
• Soft Skills: Strong communicator; confident with leadership, program managers/directors, and clients.
• Plus: Prior military service or experience on government contracts.
• Mobility: Willing to travel in the U.S. and internationally.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
