The Opportunity:
As a Financial Advisor at GoldBook Financial, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' futures by delivering comprehensive financial guidance and customized investment solutions. This mid-level position offers the autonomy to manage a diverse portfolio while leveraging our firm's extensive resources to drive growth and enhance client retention.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients' specific life goals, risk tolerance, and time horizons.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and proactive client consultations to adjust strategies based on changing market conditions or life events.
- Actively prospect and network to identify high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients to expand the firm’s book of business.
- Collaborate with internal specialists in tax, estate, and insurance planning to provide a truly holistic wealth management experience.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with all industry regulations and firm policies to ensure the highest standards of ethical practice.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of successful experience in financial advisory or wealth management services.
- Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses.
- Proven track record of meeting production goals and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
- Active Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses.
- Proficiency with advanced financial planning software such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or Morningstar.
- An existing transferable book of business or a strong local professional network.
- Advanced degree, such as an MBA or a Master’s in Finance.
