Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients in a perioperative and short-stay surgical setting, including preoperative and postoperative assessment and monitoring
- Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes in clinical condition
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, physicians, and families to plan and implement individualized care
- Document care accurately; ensure infection control, patient safety, and adherence to standards and hospital policies
- Support families with education, discharge planning, and coordination of post‑operative care

Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing (RN)
- Active, unrestricted RN license to practice in any state
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completed within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work in a pediatric perioperative/acute care setting within a surgical center
- Eligibility to work the listed shift and schedule
