About The Role
As a Channel and Field Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the definition and execution of tailored marketing programs to recruit new customers, new channel partners, help existing partners to increase sales of Object First and build customer demand and awareness. The focus will be on North America, where you will be responsible for strategy, tactics, reporting and establishing processes to support the GTM goals. Activities will include awareness and demand programs, partner enablement, and sales enablement.
The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial approach and quickly move from planning to implementation. A keen understanding of the IT channel, and what partners value to drive growth is essential. This position requires strong program and project management skills, working with a distributed sales and marketing team. Establishing strong working relations with core SMEs on other teams (Product Marketing, Product Management, Demand Generation and Operations) will be critical to ensure consistency in messages and tactics. Close cooperation with regional sales teams is required to align priorities, performance, and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to align strategy in areas of customer and partner recruitment, enablement, and growth.
- Build clear marketing plans and measure ROI by month and quarter.
- Establish relations with core SMEs across the organization to understand messaging and content produced and its relevance for channel partners.
- Act as an ambassador of partner ecosystem and ensure that its brand and messaging to partners /prospective partners is reflected in all content.
- Support the regional channel leaders to address geo-specific nuances to delivery of programs, content, and communications.
- Create and deliver marketing programs and communication assets to channel partners.
- Deliver a consistent program of digital demand generation programs, with the purpose of building awareness among customers, recruiting partners, and enabling partners to sign net new customers.
- Plan and execute field events.
- Coordinate Public Relations and Analyst Relations activity in region.
- Organize the regular and transparent process of tracking the performance (leveraging Pardot, Salesforce, and other platforms)
- Develop and deliver professional written and spoken communications that ensure team members and leadership have clear, concise, and up-to-date information on the progress of work deliverables.
- Working with leaders to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement of program strategy and design, as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors, master’s, or other university degrees ideally in marketing, communications, business or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in a results-driven channel marketing role in a partner-facing, technology-driven business in North America.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to successfully launch and monitor new programs.
- Solid understanding of industry-standard channel programs.
- Ability to collaborate with distributed and diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with channel sales teams to align sales and go-to-market goals.
- Excellent writing and presenting in English.
- Comfortable with video collaboration tools e.g., Teams, Slack.
- Effective project management and organizational skills.
- Strong initiative and creativity.
