About the Project: Are you passionate about crafting high-performance systems that connect global markets? Our FX Trading Aggregator enables flawless access to liquidity for top banks and traders worldwide. This is your opportunity to work on a critical platform trusted across the globe.

It offers flexible execution management and venue choice, delivering market prices in milliseconds. Our Java-based software runs on hundreds of servers across data centers in the U.S., Europe, and Asiaproviding real-time, low-latency access to global liquidity.

Your Impact: You'll be part of a team that provides end-to-end support for the Aggregator applicationfrom build and development to maintenance and production solving. While we follow Agile practices, we stay ready to respond quickly to urgent production issues when needed.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do: Lead technical design and development of new functionality for the FX trading platform. Collaborate with product managers and team members to analyze requirements, estimate effort, and plan work. Design, develop, and document scalable solutions. Enhance existing applications and components. Conduct code reviews and mentor peers. Support DevOps with automation tools for upgrades, patching, and maintenance. Partner with QA on automated testing strategies. Provide third-level production support, including occasional on-call duties. Drive learning and development plans for individuals and teams. Lead design work for Epics and break them down into actionable stories. Adapt patterns to create resilient, high-performance solutions.

Requirements - What We're Looking For: Shown experience in software development with recent Java versions. Expertise in multi-threading, multi-tier, event-driven, and microservice architectures. Experience with Linux, SQL and Networking. Solid understanding of high-performance programming and optimization techniques (e.g., GC tuning). Experience with message-driven systems (Kafka, Tibco, Solace). Deep understanding of distributed systems resilience (failover, redundancy, recovery). Hands-on experience with real-time, low-latency systems. Familiarity with middleware (Kafka, Tibco, RabbitMQ). Cloud infrastructure and containerization experience (Kubernetes, Azure preferred). Agile leadership experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and OOAD skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently at a senior technical level.

Bonus Points For: Experience building trading platforms. Implementing automated testing solutions. Building CI/CD pipelines.

Career Stage: Manager

Compensation/Benefits Information: LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $125,900 - $209,900. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
