Program Overview
About The Role
Act as a primary technical interface with government stakeholders, RCC leadership, and vendors, translating mission requirements into technical solutions and providing regular operational and risk status reporting. Provide senior-level escalation support and strategic guidance for complex incidents, balancing
operational urgency with long-term architectural stability.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, secure, and update enterprise VoIP and VTC systems to ensure system integrity and security.
- Configure, patch, and scan systems to maintain high availability and optimal performance.
- Respond to incident tickets, service requests, and restoration of services, as well as process requests for change.
- Maintain documentation of server/system characteristics, physical/logical capability diagrams, and security policies/settings.
- Notify the Government of any "critical" or "high" incidents impacting critical systems and services.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and recommend changes to VoIP and VTC infrastructure to ensure robust and sustainable systems.
- Perform availability and performance monitoring, including trend analysis to assess service quality.
- Employ best business practices to provide secure, standardized, and scalable VoIP and VTC systems.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years w/o BS/BA, 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD OR one of the following: Security+ SecurityX / CASP+ CCNP Security CCSP FITSP-O GFACT
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Expertise in VoIP and VTC system operations, maintenance, and security.
- Experience with system configuration, patching, and vulnerability scanning.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for infrastructure support.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed system documentation and diagrams.
- Knowledge of availability and performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with security policies and compliance standards within enterprise environments.
- Active Secret security clearance required

Details
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
