Summary : The Packer/Delivery Driver is responsible for efficiently selecting and packing customer printed products, as well as making local deliveries using a company truck or van. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment and timely, professional delivery to customers, supporting overall service quality and operational efficiency.

Schedule : 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, or similar. Training may occur at other times.

Salary Range: $17.00 To 19.00 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer products within the local area using a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver customer orders to designated locations within scheduled timeframes using GPS and route instructions.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company transportation procedures.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections, including checks of fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes.
• Maintain company vehicle in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Verify customer order manifests against delivery and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Comply with all company safety regulations, protocols, and procedures at all times.

Packer Summary

The Packer is responsible for efficiently selecting, inspecting, and packing customer printed products in accordance with job specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Cutter Operator to follow packing instructions based on job specifications and form/batch details.
• Identify product type and quantity to select appropriate packaging materials (e.g., boxes, dividers, filler).
• Remove printed materials from cutter tables and ensure order labels are legible and properly placed.
• Perform initial quality inspections to confirm products meet company standards before packing.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by physically counting products and verifying against order numbers.
• Accurately and safely box completed orders and notify quality control personnel or supervisors when ready for inspection.
• Keep packing materials organized and stocked, including boxes, tape guns, chipboard dividers, markers, and other necessary supplies.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Attend all department/company meetings
• Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR EXPERIENCES:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery driver, warehouse, or packing role.
• Ability to operate and navigate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read, follow, and execute detailed work instructions and safety guidelines.

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients during deliveries.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
