• Patient Volume/Census: 0 – 1 deliveries per shift
• Admissions: Yes (as needed)
• Case Mix: OB/GYN call coverage, labor and delivery support
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: 99
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• EMR System: Cerner
• Office Equipment Available: Standard hospital equipment
• Support Staff Available: Nurse Midwife coverage (physician provides backup as needed)
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days

• OB/GYN call coverage
• Labor and delivery management
• Emergency obstetric care
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active AZ License (IMLC accepted)
• Board: BC/BE in Obstetrics/Gynecology
• DEA: Required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year
• Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable providing backup coverage for Nurse Midwife
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide 24-hour on-call OB/GYN coverage
• Manage labor and delivery cases as needed
• Respond to callbacks (approximately 0–2 per shift)
• Collaborate with nursing and midwife staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner
