About the Role:
The Clinic Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of a healthcare clinic, directly impacting patient care quality and staff performance. This position requires overseeing daily administrative and clinical functions, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The Clinic Manager acts as a liaison between medical staff, patients, and external partners to foster a collaborative and patient-centered environment. They are responsible for implementing policies and procedures that enhance operational workflows and improve patient satisfaction. Ultimately, the Clinic Manager ensures that the clinic meets its strategic goals while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and compliant healthcare setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management or clinic administration.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and medical billing processes.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions.
- Certification in healthcare management such as Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
- Experience in quality improvement methodologies and patient safety initiatives.
- Familiarity with insurance contracting and reimbursement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinic operations including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and quality of care.
- Manage and support clinical and administrative staff through hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and monitor budgets, control expenses, and ensure financial sustainability of the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, including patient privacy and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and external agencies to facilitate smooth service delivery and billing processes.
- Implement and update clinic policies and procedures to improve operational effectiveness and patient experience.
- Analyze clinic performance data and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Analytical skills are essential for interpreting financial reports, patient data, and operational metrics to make informed decisions that enhance clinic performance. Organizational skills are critical for managing multiple priorities, including scheduling, compliance, and resource allocation, to maintain smooth clinic operations. Additionally, proficiency with healthcare technology and regulatory knowledge supports the Clinic Manager in maintaining compliance and leveraging data to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
