Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support AP/AR functions as needed
• Prepare financial reports and analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Assist with audits and other ad hoc projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Experience

• Month-end close
• General ledger accounting
• Financial reporting
• ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
