Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Job Description Perform mechanical analysis, CAD design, or testing of complex materials, structural components, or systems for the Aerospace/DoD industry. Utilize advanced structural and product design engineering software alongside CAD software, preferably Siemens NX. Apply GD&T principles to enhance designs. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 4 - 7+ years of related experience, or a Master's with 4 years of related experience. + Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering degreed preferred + We also have openings for Mechanical Designers if you do not have a degree but interested in a heavy CAD role! + Proficiency in mechanical design and CAD software, especially Siemens NX. + Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles, specifically ASME Y14.5. + Experience in aerospace, missile, launch vehicle, booster, or defense industries. + Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Siemens NX 1946 and Teamcenter. + Active DoD Secret Security clearance or higher. + ASME Y14.5-2009 GD&T certification. + Experience working with DoD programs and within the launch vehicle industry. + Upper-level coursework in mechanical design, heat transfer, and vibrations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.
