Pay:

• $23 per hour
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Position Overview:

• Receive, store and issue materials, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse or storage yard
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers
• Record data manually or using computer
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
• Ability to schedule and prioritize multiple projects
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting
• Work as an integral part of the production team to ensure smooth operations and efficient output
• Ability to handle physical workload
• High attention to detail and follow up on defective product

Requirements:

• MUST have experience with SAP or Oracle software
• 2-3 years experience with operating within a warehouse environment
• Experience handling RF gun, Warehouse Management system, and Microsoft Office
• Able to perform warehouse tasks in a fast-paced work setting
• Previous experiment working in a high production environment is preferred
• Must have command of the English language both written & verbal
• Analytical and problem solving ability
• Team player and detail oriented
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions
• All potential employees will be required to pass a comprehensive background check
• Ability to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday
