We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Machinist with 13 years of experience or recent completion of an in-person machining trade school program. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in CNC machining while contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position focuses on fundamental machine operation, maintenance, and consistency in part production. Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload workpieces safely and efficiently
- Perform basic CNC program loading and machine operation under supervision
- Maintain proper coolant levels and monitor fluid condition
- Manage chip bins, including emptying and disposal in accordance with procedures
- Keep machine tables and work areas clean and free of debris
- Perform routine machine upkeep, including use of air, oiling, and general maintenance tasks
- Follow setup sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Inspect parts for basic quality requirements and report issues as needed
- Support senior machinists and supervisors with daily production needs
- 13 years of machining experience OR recent graduate of an in-person machining trade school program
- Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and shop practices
- Familiarity with machine maintenance tasks (coolant, chips, cleaning, lubrication)
- Ability to follow instructions and work consistently in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident)
- Must have no disqualifying criminal history
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
