Job Title: MIG/Stick Welder

Pay: $21/hr and then $22/hr when go on direct

Location: Chandler, AZ

Job Description

As a MIG/Stick Welder, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols to perform MIG and Stick welding on steel. You must demonstrate proficiency in a basic MIG flat welding test, where you will set up a welding machine after it has been zeroed out. The work involves welding steel ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch thickness.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately.
• Perform MIG and Stick welding on steel materials.
• Set up welding machines for operation after zeroing out.
• Pass a basic MIG weld test to demonstrate welding proficiency.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates with relevant schooling are welcome.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
