Seeking fulltime RDH!

We are a private general dentistry office. We have one doctor with over 20 years experience in sedation dentistry, oral surgery, implants, orthodontics, and general dentistry treatment. Our schedule would be Monday-Thursday with the choice of a Cavitron or Piezo System! We offer single column hygiene with a scheduled lunch. We also offer 1 week off for Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter breaks. We use Open Dental software and XDR imaging; both systems have provided training upon your onboarding.

What you can expect working with our team:

We are a fun team that love to maintain an upbeat atmosphere. We have team bonding events quarterly and have a scheduled monthly staff meeting to ensure our team is on the same page & there are no misunderstandings on what to expect in the coming month.

Duties:

-Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments.

- Take digital dental x-rays or scans: iTero, intra-oral photos, CBCT, etc.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide recommendations for preventive care.

- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.

- Assist the dentist in administering local anesthesia.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records; including documentation of treatments and procedures.

- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.

Skills:

- Proficiency in using dental software systems for patient scheduling and record keeping. - Familiarity with dental hygiene techniques and instruments.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document medical information.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices.

Requirements:

-Must have at least 3 years experience.

-Must have current and valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist

-Must have current CPR/AED certification
