We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law Firm client's team in Gilbert, Arizona. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse personal injury litigation cases, providing vital support throughout all phases of the legal process. If you have a strong background in legal research, drafting, and trial preparation, we encourage you to apply. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and development.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage case calendars, ensuring all deadlines are met and court dates are scheduled appropriately.
• Handle the e-filing process for court submissions and ensure compliance with filing requirements.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating logistics.
• Review, analyze, and respond to discovery requests and responses.
• Maintain and update case management software, tracking case progress and maintaining accurate records.
• File and organize court documents, ensuring all filings are completed correctly and on time.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and provide administrative support as needed.
• Utilize tools like Adobe Acrobat to format and edit legal documents effectively.
• Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, particularly in personal injury cases.• Proficiency with case management software and e-filing systems.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and filing requirements.
• Expertise in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Familiarity with trial preparation processes and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in legal research using various tools and resources.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat for document formatting and editing.
