**Role Summary / Purpose**
The Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) Program Manager is responsible for enhancing the maturity and integration of Synchrony's GRC technology platform (eGRC) to enable integrated risk management across the enterprise. In this role, you will drive a team that focuses on requirements gathering, process improvement, program management and efficiency within Risk and Compliance technology, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of risk and governance programs while promoting sound GRC principles. This person will be able to leverage their expertise with GRC programs to integrate processes across the Enterprise Risk Framework, while partnering with cross-functional teams to proactively identify, mitigate, and monitor risks. Success will be measured by the business value of eGRC solutions and ability to manage integrated and aggregated views of risk.
The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker with prior experience in requirements gathering as a product owner or business analyst, program management, GRC processes proven leadership skills, and strong technical capabilities.

**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for managing multiple simultaneous software and technical enhancement initiatives while driving alignment among stakeholders.
+ Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of business analysts (product owners) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
+ Accountable for all product owner responsibilities across the full Agile life cycle, supporting multiple Agile teams including establishing clear priorities by maintaining a well-groomed backlog, participating in Agile rituals, ensuring coordination across teams and all milestones are met and deliverables align with customer expectations.
+ Manage requirements gathering for the delivery of GRC solution configuration, application integrations and other technologies required to support eGRC, as well as related reporting and data analytics.
+ Lead GRC program planning, milestone and success criteria definition, resource allocation plan, and estimation leading to predictable delivery.
+ Communicate successes, schedules, priorities, issues and health of initiatives to stakeholders and team leadership to drive iterative process improvements.
+ Create, track, and drive critical path, flagging and managing dependencies and decisions that affect initiatives and the overall GRC program.
+ Identify and manage initiative risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address potential issues to ensure successful outcomes.
**Qualifications/Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline with 3+ years eGRC experience; or in lieu of a degree, 7+ years of eGRC experience
+ 5+ years' experience as a business analyst / product owner gathering technical requirements for application configuration and business process improvement
+ 5+ years' experience in Consumer Banking or Finance
+ 3+ years of SAFe Experience
+ 2+ years' experience managing teams
+ Demonstrated leadership managing complex projects and multiple initiatives simultaneously involving technical project management and process automation delivery
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ 2+ years of Scrum Master Experience
+ Experience enhancing GRC platforms and risk and compliance solutions (e.g. SAI360 'BWise', Archer, ServiceNow, or Onspring and etc.)
+ Problem solver with ability to promote collaborative solutions
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
+ Experience with continuous delivery
**Grade/Level: 13**
The salary range for this position is **155,000.00 - 260,000.00** USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
**Eligibility Requirements:**
+ You must be 18 years or older
+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
