Autocad Designer/Estimator- Phoenix

Description This position combines CAD drafting and estimating tasks in the low-voltage security systems field. It is designed for an entry-level candidate, ideally someone recently certified or currently pursuing a CAD/drafting program. Training will be provided on security system specifics. - Produce AutoCAD drawings (floor plans, riser diagrams, wiring schematics, as-builts) - Assist in preparing estimates and bid proposals using Excel and estimating tools - Work with engineers and project managers to align drawings and proposals with project requirements - Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and cost data Skills AutoCad, microsoft excel, Organized, Attention to detail, Communication, Multitasking, microsoft project, Scheduling, Electronics, Drafting, low voltage, access control, video surveillance, intrusion Top Skills Details AutoCad,microsoft excel,Organized,Attention to detail,Communication,Multitasking Additional Skills & Qualifications - Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools - Technical or coursework in electronics, drafting, or low-voltage systems - Exposure to security technologies (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection) Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
