Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is now hiring Physician Assistants or Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP-C) with at least one year of post-grad clinical experience in the Emergency Department at Tucson Medical Center.

Positions:

• Pediatric ER: PRN or Seasonal
• Adult ER: Full-time, Part-Time, PRN or Seasonal

Adult Emergency Department Information:

• Volume: 80,000
• Admission Rate: 27%
• Transfer Rate: 1%
• Patients/Hour: 1.85
• Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily
• APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily
• Acuity: high
• ED Beds: 60
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital Beds: 615
• Physician Shifts: 8 hours & 9 hours
• APP Shifts:
• Fast track: 8a-6p, 10a-8p, Noon–10p, 4p-2a, 5p-5a
• ED Extension: 9a-6p, 11a-9p, 4p-1a

Pediatric Emergency Department

• Separate dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
• APP Shifts: 11a-11p daily & 6p-12p seasonal shift
• APP Coverage: 12 hours daily; 18 hours daily during winter surge
• Volume: 31,000
• Admission Rate: 6%
• Transfer Rate: 1%
• Patients/Hour: 1.8-2 per clinician
• Physician Shifts: 9 hours (7a - 4p; 3p - 12a; 10p - 7a)
• Physician Coverage: 27 hours daily
• ED Beds: 14
• EMR: Epic
• 42-bed Level III NICU
• 12-bed PICU
• 33-bed Inpatient Pediatric Unit with around-the-clock in-house pediatric hospitalists
• Specially trained child life specialists on staff
• Wide range of pediatric subspecialist physicians on staff

Required Qualifications:

• AZ PA or ENP license and certification; PACNP for Pedi ER only
• One or more years of post-grad hospital ER experience in APP role
• DEA certificate
• BLS, ACLS & PALS (NRP if working in Pedi ER)

Compensation:

• • W2: $110 - 120/hr ($85.50/hr Base & $9.50/hr QSP & RVU)
  • W2 RVU Bonus Pay: $15/hr bonus if 8 RVUs/hr met; $25/hr bonus if 8.9 RVUs/hr met
  • W2 Night Shift Differential: $6/hr 12a-6a
  • W2 Holiday Pay: time and a half for designated holidays
  • 1099 Pedi ER PRN Only: $105/hr flat rate (no RVU, no QSP & no travel expenses provided)
