We are seeking a mid to senior-level Quality Control Inspector with aerospace manufacturing experience to join our growing team in Tempe, AZ. This role is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace tubing, tube assemblies, machined components, and metal hardware used in critical aircraft applications to ensure full compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and AS9100/NADCAP requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of aerospace components
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles
• Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (Forms 1, 2, 3)
• Verify traceability, certifications, and quality documentation
• Identify dimensional discrepancies and workmanship defects (welds, brazes, surface conditions)
• Generate Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and support MRB activities
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements
• Support internal and external audits, including customer and registrar audits
• Complete Certificates of Conformance and shipping documentation

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years aerospace quality inspection experience (5+ years preferred)
• Experience in an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment
• Strong GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience completing AS9102 First Articles
• Proficiency with precision inspection tools
• Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions

Inspection Equipment Experience

Experience with:

• Calipers and micrometers
• Height stands and surface plates
• Pin gauges and dial bore gauges
• Dial indicators
• Optical Comparators
• Check fixtures
• Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

**DQR authorization, CMM programming experience, or advanced audit participation is a plus.**
