Equitable Housing Construction Partners is looking for a Business Development Specialist to help expand our presence in the affordable housing renovation space across the United States. This role is based in Arizona and focused on building relationships, increasing pipeline, and helping grow long-term partnerships in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and affordable housing sector.

What You'll Do- Work closely with the business development team to execute a growth strategy focused on affordable housing renovation projects nationwide
- Identify and engage developers, owners, investors, and agencies in the LIHTC space
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Set and attend a high volume of in-person meetings each week
- Grow pipeline consistently and help convert prospective projects into active opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify new targets and emerging trends
- Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities
- Deliver presentations when needed to showcase company capabilities
- Coordinate with preconstruction, legal, construction, and finance teams to support project pursuit and execution
- Stay current on affordable housing regulations, policies, and tax credit trends
- Travel regularly, with weekly travel expected to be at least 60%
- Experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management
- Strong preference for experience in affordable housing, LIHTC, real estate, or related sectors
- Strong understanding of low-income housing tax credits and affordable housing finance
- Ability to build relationships and earn trust with clients and partners
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Organized, self-directed, and able to work independently
- Comfortable managing activity in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel extensively and meet clients in person
- Arizona based or able to operate from Arizona successfully
