Grocery Store Manager (Contract)

3-6 MONTH CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT LOCATED IN MONUMENT VALLEY, UT

Goulding's Lodge located in Monument Valley, Utah is currently seeking a contract Grocery Store Manager for 3-6 months. Competitive compensation package with on-site housing is provided at no cost .

You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Grocery Store to provide exceptional customer service, optimize sales and increase profitability. You will live on property with all of your housing expenses covered.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee the daily operations of the grocery department, ensuring efficient and effective functioning
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Market and buy products to meet customer demands and maximize sales
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Monitor and control expenses, including budgeting and payroll management
• Train, supervise, and evaluate staff to maintain a high level of customer service
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grocery department
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner

Education and Experience:

• H.S. Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must have a minimum of 15 years of grocery/retail experience with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of grocery store operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
