Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for an Associate Pricing Analyst (Level 1) or Pricing Analyst (Level 2) to support our Chandler, AZ location. This position can be filled with either a level one or level two based on the basic qualifications.

In this role, the selected candidate will:

  • Support a variety of proposal activities (Firm Proposals, Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs), pricing exercises) to meet program and business goals
  • Interact and collaborate with other functional areas (Business Management, Contracts, Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Logistics) to develop strategies in support of proposal requirements and deadlines
  • Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications
  • Support risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal process
  • Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team
  • Support Pricing and Estimating team initiatives and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

Level 1:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Level 2:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 3+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control or Master's degree with 1+ years of experience
  • Proven work experience with Microsoft Office suite, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel with past work experience in building complex spreadsheets including macro development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Cost Estimating/Cost Proposal Preparation
  • Aerospace/defense industry and business management experience
  • Working knowledge of cost and pricing techniques
  • Experience in supporting negotiations and risk analysis
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS
Salary Range: $51,400 - $77,200 Salary Range 2: $62,200 - $93,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
