Job Description We’re looking for a Senior Ford Technician who can confidently handle complex diagnostics, major repairs, and advanced systems on a wide range of Ford vehicles. You’ll be expected to perform high-level work efficiently and accurately, support other technicians when needed, and uphold the standards that keep our customers coming back. Job Type & Schedule Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, rotating Saturdays Pay: Flat rate, based on certifications and experience Responsibilities * Perform high-level diagnostic and repair work on Ford vehicles in line with factory specifications * Handle complex electrical, powertrain, emissions, hybrid, and drivability issues * Mentor and support lower-level technicians and help troubleshoot escalated repairs * Accurately document work performed and parts used on each repair order * Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure quality * Maintain Ford Master Certification and participate in required training programs * Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding diagnosis and repair needs * Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times Qualifications * Ford Master Technician Certification preferred * ASE certifications strongly preferred * Minimum 5 years of experience in a dealership or high-volume service center * Deep knowledge of Ford diagnostic tools and repair systems (IDS/FDRS) * Ability to mentor junior techs and maintain productivity targets * Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and pride in workmanship * Valid driver’s license with clean driving record * Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment Why Join AutoNation Ford Scottsdale * Work at a high-volume dealership with a steady flow of warranty and customer-pay work * Join a team with strong leadership that values technician input * Take advantage of Ford-backed training and ongoing certification support * Access state-of-the-art equipment and facilities * Be part of a respected service department with long-term stability and opportunity for growth Benefits * Competitive flat-rate pay with performance incentives * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) plan with company match * Paid factory training and certification programs * Paid time off and holidays * Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts * Career advancement within AutoNation’s technician development path Equal Opportunity Employer Statement AutoNation Ford Scottsdale is an equal opportunity employer.
