Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor communications, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and able to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and timely
• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Verify vendor information and banking details
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
• Assist with new vendor setup and documentation
• Monitor finance inbox and prioritize incoming requests
• Reconcile statements and maintain accurate AP records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Support month-end close and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting support experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with invoice processing systems or workflow tools
• Experience handling vendor maintenance and banking verification
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles including debits and credits
