General Neurologist (Prescott)

Responsibilities

• Join a team with 2 other Neurologists in a solo practice setting.
• Move into a new, state-of-the-art Outpatient Service Building.
• Manage a diverse patient population including MS, Parkinsons, Dementia, Alzheimers, Seizures, Stroke, Balance Issues, Neuropathy, Migraine, ALS, Ataxia, Bells Palsy, Cerebral Palsy.
• See approximately 15-18 patients per day in outpatient clinic.
• Provide inpatient care when on-call, with 0-3 inpatient cases per day.
• Conduct 13-15 consults weekly, each lasting about 40 minutes, from Monday to Thursday, 8am-4pm; Friday 8am-12pm.
• Perform procedures such as EMG NCV, EEG, Lumbar Puncture, Botox, Occipital Blocks, Myobloc.
• Call responsibilities: 9 days per month, including one weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday).

Qualifications

• MD or DO Degree with Board Certification or Eligibility.
• Completed ACGME-accredited fellowship training and/or current ABMS Board Certification in Neurology.
• Ability to obtain full hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
• Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting.

Pay Range

$151.44 - $162.63 per hour.
