• Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Setting: Acute Rehab Unit (10 beds)
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract healthcare jobs)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Weekend rotations required)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
• Patient Ratio: 1:7
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800–$1840

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in rehab nursing, medical surgical nursing, or telemetry nursing
• Ability to float to medical surgical or telemetry units as needed
• Friendly, compassionate, and team-oriented personality
• Compliance with facility dress code (no artificial nails; no specific scrub color; facility T-shirts allowed on Fridays)

Rehab RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the acute rehab setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient rehabilitation
• Utilize patient room equipment, including lifts over every bed
• Assist patients in gym and dining room rehabilitation activities
• Float to medical surgical or telemetry units as required
• Maintain a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and families
