Advanced Electrical Engineer

Acara Solution is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer for our client, located in Scottsdale, AZ.

• As an electrical engineer for GPS / SPACE Mission Programs on a cross-functional team responsible for Acceptance Test of Modules and Systems, Procedures, Hardware, Software, and Data Review.
• Habitually ahead of technology trends, with a background in testing, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics.
• Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design.
• Collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development for themselves and others.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 5 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Research & Development experience, including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master's Degree with 3 years of experience.
• Proficient in using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed-signal circuit analysis/design.
• Good Background in RF Test Equipment (Spec An, Sig Gens).
• Understanding of Space Flight Hardware Handling Procedures and Familiarity with Software used to Automate Test Equipment, Test Data Capture, and Analysis.

Additional Information:

• Requires a Secret Clearance.
