Customer Service Lab Support
Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Problem Resolution Specialist to join our team at in Phoenix, AZ .
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Job Responsibilities:
Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.
Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications
Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner.
Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
Provide customer education and information as needed.
Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.
Accurately identify and label specimens.
Pack and ship specimens as necessary.
Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualification:
Current or prior Labcorp experience
Associates degree or higher
2 years or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital
2 years or more of experience in customer service
Additional Job Standards
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Well-versed in applications like Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and willingness to learn new applications
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
