QA Nurse Position Summary

We’re looking for a detail-driven Quality Assurance Nurse with OASIS certification to join our in-office clinical team. This role is ideal for an experienced home health RN who enjoys reviewing documentation, ensuring compliance, coaching clinicians, and maintaining high-quality standards. You’ll be a key part of ensuring accurate OASIS assessments, regulatory compliance, and smooth care coordination across the agency.

This is a non-field role —perfect for a nurse who wants predictable hours and the ability to influence quality across the organization.

QA Nurse Key Responsibilities

OASIS & Documentation Review

• Review OASIS assessments (SOC, ROC, Recert, Discharge) for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Verify compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and agency standards
• Audit clinical notes and care plans to ensure clarity and consistency

Clinician Support & Education

• Provide timely feedback to field clinicians on OASIS coding and documentation best practices
• Support onboarding and ongoing education related to OASIS, EMR use, and compliance expectations for new and current clinical staff

Quality & Compliance

• Identify documentation trends and contribute to corrective action plans
• Assist with QAPI initiatives, survey readiness, and compliance reviews
• Track patient outcomes and support quality improvement measures

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with clinical leadership, intake, billing, and scheduling teams
• Support smooth transitions, accurate billing, and cohesive care coordination

QA Nurse Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license (required)
• OASIS certification (required; COS-C preferred)
• 2+ years of home health nursing experience
• Strong understanding of Medicare CoPs
• Experience with EMRs and clinical documentation
• Excellent communication, coaching, and analytical skills
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational ability
