Responsibilities
As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within Honeywell's Next-Gen Avionics (NGA) group, you will play a vital role in the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge Flight Display Systems and Avionics solutions. You will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking solutions for Anthem Flight Display Systems.

As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

• Drive system design, development, integration, and implementation of core Flight Displays Systems to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications for core flight display systems, platforms, and applications
• Employ Model-based System Design methodologies and tools to create innovative solutions
• Drive Systems/Software requirements development, validation, integration, and verification, ensuring our cutting-edge systems meet the highest standards.
• Support ARINC 661 development, utilizing Scade.
• Create test cases based upon use cases derived from system and software requirements
• Stay current with advancements in avionics technologies and industry trends to inform design decisions and enhance system capabilities

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of Systems engineering experience ideally in aerospace/avionics, display technologies, gaming, or related industries
• Strong proficiency in systems engineering principles and processes.

WE VALUE

• Advanced Engineering degrees in AE (Aerospace Engineering), SE (Systems Engineering), EE, etc or related.
• Familiarity with avionics systems and/or display technologies is of value.
• Experience with Simulink or similar model-based design tools
• Experience in new and/or next generation development programs is of value.
• Experience in complex system integration projects
• Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) I/O and IO scheduling tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC) is a plus
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
• Knowledge of change management practices
• Knowledge of system certification requirements and documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
