Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide on-site medical care.
- Assess patients, administer first aid, and perform life-saving interventions.
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators and oxygen tanks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and patients.
- Document patient care reports and maintain accurate records.
- Follow infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols.
- Travel to assigned locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: State and/or National Registry EMT certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of EMT experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
