Commercial Estimator / Project Manager
- Preparing accurate, detailed commercial estimates using historical cost data and current market pricing
- Leading projects from bid through completion — schedule, budget, scope, and client communication
- Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and contracts with precision
- Participating in preconstruction planning and value engineering
- Negotiating with vendors and subcontractors
- Tracking project performance against estimates and identifying cost trends
- Working directly with ownership on strategy, systems, and process improvements
- Maintaining profitability targets and protecting margin
- 5+ years of commercial estimating and project management experience
- Strong background in commercial construction (metal building experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High-level blueprint reading and takeoff skills
- Proficiency with estimating and project management software
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of job cost control
- Excellent communication and client management skills
