Job Summary

A growing staffing and employment services organization is seeking a driven Staffing Consultant in Tucson, AZ for a direct hire opportunity. Key Responsibilities

- Prospect, develop, and win new client accounts through outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and relationship-building.
- Meet with business decision-makers to understand hiring challenges and recommend tailored staffing and recruitment solutions.
- Negotiate rates, margins, placement terms, and service expectations with client companies.
- Recruit, evaluate, and match qualified candidates to open roles generated through client development efforts.
- Manage client relationships to drive repeat business, account growth, and long-term partnerships.
- Track activity, pipeline, client communication, and placement progress in a metrics-driven sales environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $50,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Develop new business accounts within the staffing and employment services market.
- Manage a full-cycle staffing desk, including client development, recruiting, matching, and placement.
- Negotiate staffing solutions, rates, and placement terms with decision-makers.
- Build and scale a book of business through consistent sales activity and account management.

- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, recruiting, staffing, or a high-volume sales environment.
- Strong prospecting skills with confidence making outbound calls and initiating new business conversations.
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to uncover client needs and position staffing solutions effectively.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Resilient, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment.
- Comfortable managing both sales development and recruiting responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to use professional networking tools, including LinkedIn, to identify prospects and build relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the staffing, recruiting, employment agency, or workforce solutions industry.
- Prior success managing a sales pipeline, territory, desk, or book of business.
- Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting, candidate screening, and client account management.
- Interest in long-term career growth into senior sales, account management, or branch leadership roles.
