Host
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure a smooth dining experience. As the first point of contact for our patrons, you will play a vital role in representing our restaurant’s hospitality standards and ensuring guest satisfaction from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area
- Answer guest inquiries and provide information about the menu and restaurant policies
- Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service
- Handle guest concerns or special requests with courtesy and professionalism
- Monitor wait times and communicate effectively with guests
- Assist in maintaining a positive and welcoming environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic computer skills for reservation management and communication
