Position Overview

As our Transportation Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and oversight of critical infrastructure projects, including gravel roads, paved highways, culvert systems, and bridge structures. You'll apply your technical knowledge to develop comprehensive engineering solutions that balance safety, durability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental considerations.

Core Responsibilities

• Design & Development

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical reports, and specifications using industry-standard software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Conduct thorough site investigations, analyze topographical data, survey reports, and material test results to inform infrastructure design decisions.

• Technical Expertise

Address complex design challenges in road alignment, drainage systems, culvert sizing, and bridge structural analysis. Apply specialized knowledge to develop solutions that meet technical specifications while adapting to geographical and environmental constraints.

• Project Management

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation throughout the infrastructure lifecycle. Coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and minimal disruption.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Continuing education in transportation engineering

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated expertise in road and bridge design principles
• Proficiency with engineering software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong analytical skills and technical problem-solving abilities
