The Staff Accountant is a results-oriented Accounting and Finance role that reports directly to the Accounting Manager, working closely with Operations and Sales to improve profitability and cash-flow.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close for one or more operations.
• Maintains accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data
• Ensures required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing
• Completes assigned objectives to achieve financial services goals
• Process payroll, and assist with the accounts receivable process
• Ensures all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis
• Ensures all sales reports and financial statements are accurate prior to distribution
• Clearly communicates financial results to management on a regular basis
• Provides accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested
• Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 1+ years in a Finance/Accounting role
• Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred
• Accounting / Finance Degree preferred
• High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
