Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery progress post-anesthesia.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

• Evaluate and report any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.

• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

• Utilize data and feedback to enhance personal and team performance.

• Support a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona with PACU experience.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Proficient in monitoring vital signs and post-anesthesia recovery.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Experience in medication administration and patient care documentation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
