Female Staff for Sex traffic Girls Group Home

Ohana Family Homes Apply with Get.It is looking for a Full Time Female Staff who have a passion to work with teen girls who have experienced sexual trauma. The role of a Staff is to provide support, care, & stability for teen girls living in the home and to maintain a safe & family like environment. The Staff will assist the teen girls by directing interactions, including but not limited to behavioral management and facilitating therapeutic, recreational, and social life skills. Functions as a role model, adhering to agency standards of practice for children, staff, and the public. Provides a therapeutic approach during daily routine. Serves as a servant leader and surrogate parent for the kids under his/her care. Shifts needed to be filled are Saturday and Sundays (8a-3p & 3-10p). Evening shifts (3-10p) during the week and Overnight shifts (10:00p-8:00a) are also needed. Starting pay rate begins at $13 and goes up from there depending upon experience and education. Additional Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Complete ongoing training to include CPR, First Aid, and Prevention & Support or CPI
Participate in monthly team meetings and agency wide trainings/meetings
Follow agency policies and procedures
Demonstrates strong boundaries and shows care and concern for children in crisis
Assist with client admission and discharge
Follow an assigned schedule for daily activities
Oversee clients completion of daily living tasks
Follow house rules and schedules to provide consistency
Dispense medications
De-escalate children when child is dysregulated
Complete daily progress notes and incident reports, when necessary
Able to safely and appropriately utilize Prevention and Support/CPI behavioral intervention standards when necessary
Exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects
Use abdominal & lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing
Maintain all DES licensing standards
