AVIATION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Schedule: Full-Time, Nonexempt; Monday-Friday (will confirm hours)

Organization: Local Charter Aircraft Facility that is a Part 145 Facility

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: Depends on Experience and Expertise (Skills, years of relevant experience, certificates and any further education that is relevant to the job)

Job Summary

Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of company and outside customer operated aircraft and articles as assigned in accordance with Air Associates policies and procedures. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals.

Education/ Experience Requirements

• Must have FAA A&P License
• Must possess a valid state drivers license
• Must pass contingency of hire: DOT drug test
• Practical knowledge of navigating aircraft airframe and engine schematics
• Previous general aviation experience required
• Corporate Jet experience is desirable (King Air Jets is desirable or experience working on Turbo Props)
• Experience in repositioning aircraft utilizing ground support
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, stoop, bend, and lay on floor
• Must provide basic personal tools necessary to perform general routine maintenance on aircraft

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Ability to work overtime when requested with notice

Preferable Experience:

• Turbo Prop (3 years is helpful)

Multi-aircraft or a mix of what it outlined below

• King Jet
• Lear 55 or 60: 1 year (Preferred)
• CJ3: 1 year (Preferred)
• corporate jet: 3 years (Preferred)
• A&P: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

A&P License along with 5 to 10 years of aircraft mechanic experience
