This is an **onsite** role where your systems engineering expertise will directly contribute to the design, testing, and advancement of next-generation technologies. **Position Summary** As a **Senior Advanced Systems Engineer** , you will lead the development and execution of complex systems and test strategies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet rigorous performance and environmental standards, while driving innovation and continuous improvement across engineering processes. **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports based on customer and environmental requirements + Conduct avionics testing in accordance with DO-160 and other MOPS standards + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system integration and performance + Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers + Drive quality and process improvements across engineering functions + Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices to solve complex challenges **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field + Minimum 10 years of experience in systems or test engineering + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with DO-160 and/or MIL-STD environmental testing + Familiarity with MOPS such as DO-181, DO-185, DO-220, or DO-283 + Proficiency in writing test procedures and reports + Knowledge of software development life cycle + Experience with quality management systems + Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities + Passion for innovation and continuous learning **Why Join Us?** At **PDS Tech Commercial** , we connect top-tier engineering talent with opportunities that shape the future of aerospace and technology.
