Full-Time/Part Time | Supervised by LCSW

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Individual Therapist to provide counseling, assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention services to adults in a behavioral health setting. This position works under the clinical supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and must meet Arizona Title 9 standards for behavioral health providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices
• Complete behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document all services in accordance with Title 9 and agency timelines
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing required training
• Coordinate care with internal and external providers
• Support client safety, crisis intervention, and adherence to client rights
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 21 years (required under AZ Title 9)
• Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • OR Bachelors degree with qualifying behavioral health experience (meets BHT requirements)
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
• Current Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain)
• TB clearance and ability to meet all health/screening requirements
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic health records
• Prior experience in behavioral health, BHRF, or outpatient care preferred

• Resume/application, job description, and proof of qualifications
• Education and/or licensure documentation (BHP or BHT qualifications)
• CPR/First Aid, TB clearance, fingerprint clearance card
• Orientation and ongoing training records
• Supervision records (if functioning as BHT or associate-level provider)
• Background checks and competency verifications
