Our client is a well-established insurance firm offering a comprehensive range of Commercial, Personal, and Group Benefits Insurance solutions. As a Commercial Account Manager , you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing a book of commercial accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring seamless policy management and renewal processes. This is a full-time, fully in-office position.
Responsibilities- Manage the entire renewal process independently for each commercial lines account, including scheduling renewal meetings, facilitating policy reviews, and consulting on policy changes.
- Prepare quotes and estimates for new business opportunities.
- Re-market accounts to carriers, bind coverages, and handle invoicing.
- Cross-sell and up-sell products and services to existing clients; write new business from referrals and inbound leads — no cold calling or prospecting required.
- Negotiate with carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
- Process certificates of insurance and policy endorsements.
- Bind policies and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.
- Report to the office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Candidates residing within 30 minutes of the office are preferred.
- Strong ability to manage multiple accounts and renewals independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
