What You Will Be Doing

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses either independently or in partnership with physicians (subject to your credentialing)
• Educating patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management

Education Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure these within 90 days)
