Quality Engineer

**Duration: 3 months possible Contract to Hire** **Hours: M-F (8am -5pm)** **Job Description:** + This is to support our customer First Articles and PPAP and FAI requirements for other customers + Assigned areas may include inspection, verification, validation, quality systems, quality engineering, process development and improvement, customer assurance, supplier quality or other appropriate internal and external teams or processes. + Ensures processes and items are in compliance with applicable quality assurance and industry standards, company, customer, supplier, government and regular requirements (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) + Analyzes and identifies trends in various inspection, quality, process, customer, supplier and other related data; recommends corrective action or improvement plans when necessary. + Conducts random, scheduled and/or unscheduled audits to determine conformance to customer specifications and technical drawings, manufacturer's specifications, assembly manual requirements, company processes and procedures and other such specifications and requirements. + Interfaces with and coordinates activities or internal cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, third part certifying bodies and other external stakeholders appropriate. + Provides quality systems, quality tools, technical support, improvements and other applicable quality expertise as appropriate, e.g., root cause analysis, sampling plans, Pareto analysis, statistical process control, etc. + Performs capacity analysis on automated equipment such as Optical Inspection systems and other high speed, highly automated machines. + Can also perform calibration on small manual tools like torque screwdrivers, calipers and similar devices. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer **Education:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
